Andiamo
Andiamo Espresso machine takes large inspiration from the Nespresso, a machine I use everyday. I found the constant capsule refilling to be unnecessary so I decided to explore new ways to make my morning routine to be more streamlined. What if you could load a weeks supply of capsules all at once? Andiamo directly translates from Italian to "lets go", and I believe this design accurately captures that phrase.
Inspiration
For I while I have seen coffee machine after coffee machine come out, each more complex than the next, satisfying the uber-enthusiasts. But for me and potentially a lot of us, I wanted something that just works every day, is simple, and waits every morning for me to press one or two buttons. This is why I believe Nespresso is so successful, they've embraced the Italian routine by getting an espresso to you as fast as possible.
Functions / Features
This machine took heavy inspiration from Nespresso, from its capsules, button layout, to its reservoir. From the beginning of this design I wanted this deign to be an addition to their collection, serving as a refreshing and more playful choice.
